Mary Hall – for development and information about officiating and upgrading
Vacancy – for officiating at events in the county.
The County Endurance Officials Secretary is Dave Lodwick.
We always need more technical officials, and being one puts you at the heart of the action. Officials play a key role in making competition, safe, fair and fun. As an official, you work as part of a friendly team and gain a sense of satisfaction from knowing that you’re helping the athletes to achieve their goals. You can find out everything you need to know about Officiating and Officials courses on the England Athletics website. During the pandemic, some officials courses have been converted to webinar format, so it has never been easier to take that first step. Once you have completed a course, our Officials Secretaries will help you get started with mentoring and gaining the experiences you need to achieve your qualification.
